Welcome to The Nag’s Head at Castle Donington, a traditional country pub and restaurant that is open every day.
After eight years at The Falcon Inn in Long Whatton, Jad Otaki has now come back to his beloved Castle Donington and has started to put The Nag’s Head back at the heart of village life. In May 2016, he opened a beautiful ground floor extension, which now offers an ideal space for small private functions and for business meetings. “We had our wedding reception at The Nag’s Head on 31 March 2016. Jad and his staff were absolutely brilliant. We had a hot and cold buffet and received many comments about how exceptional the food was from our guests. There were about 45 guests and the tables were set out beautifully with fresh roses and much attention to detail. The 'nibbles' in the evening were excellent too and quite a varied feast including samosas, chicken and other hot dishes all beautifully prepared. They served bucks fizz on arrival and nothing was too much trouble. We have visited The Nag’s Head many times and would strongly recommend it to anyone for everything from a quiet drink (on the very nice patio outside in the summer) to a beautifully prepared and served meal, to a special celebration.”
